Yes, Baresocks are less bulky than regular water shoes but still provide the necessary protection. Many of our clients use them on a boat or for water sports. You can also use Baresocks in salt water. Please bare in mind that Baresocks are not waterproof. We recommend drying Baresocks inside out for improved durability.
Baresocks should be washed with regular clothing on 30°C/86°F. Please don't put Baresocks in the drying machine.
Absolutely! Just bare in mind that running on asphalt will decrease the durability quite a lot. Also, running barefoot can be hard on your body, make sure you try to understand what you are getting into. But once you can run for miles on end, you will definitely feel a better connection to your natural surroundings.
Our goal is to help more people enjoy the outdoors on a higher level.
In an age of never-ending distraction and disconnection, we aim to inspire and help people go out and feel what nature can bring us.
Do you remember the last time you ran barefoot into the ocean? For us this feeling has something magical that we wanted to feel in other places too.
As a team of outdoor enthusiasts, we are happy to do work that fulfills us, so we can explore the world and discover our next adventures.
''There's no WiFi in the forest, but you will find a better connection.''
Together with One Tree Planted we help reforest the Albertine Rift forests in Uganda, planting one tree per placed order. The restoration of these forests will contribute carbon sequestration, support ecosystem functioning such as water catchment, engage local communities in sustainable practices, and maintain a habitat for highly endangered species relying on the Albertine Rift for their survival - including the endangered chimpanzee.
